Maintenance Manager
A well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer in the Memphis area is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations and elevate equipment reliability, safety, and team performance. What You'll Do
Lead & Inspire
- Manage and mentor a skilled team of maintenance professionals
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development
Drive Operational Excellence
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Monitor KPIs and implement reliability-focused improvements
Be the Technical Expert
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Support critical repairs and uphold quality standards
- Utilize CMMS tools to manage work orders and maintenance data
Champion Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA and internal safety protocols
- Conduct regular inspections and proactively address risks
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all maintenance activities
Manage Resources & Budgets
- Oversee maintenance budgets and control costs
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized projects
Report & Improve
- Maintain detailed logs and generate performance reports
- Analyze breakdowns and implement corrective actions
What You Bring
- 5+ years of direct leadership experience in industrial maintenance
- Proven track record in chemical processing or automotive manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results
- Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
