A well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer in the Memphis area is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations and elevate equipment reliability, safety, and team performance. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about building strong teams and systems.


What You'll Do

Lead & Inspire

  • Manage and mentor a skilled team of maintenance professionals
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct performance reviews and support team development

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Monitor KPIs and implement reliability-focused improvements

Be the Technical Expert

  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Support critical repairs and uphold quality standards
  • Utilize CMMS tools to manage work orders and maintenance data

Champion Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce OSHA and internal safety protocols
  • Conduct regular inspections and proactively address risks
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all maintenance activities

Manage Resources & Budgets

  • Oversee maintenance budgets and control costs
  • Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships
  • Coordinate with contractors for specialized projects

Report & Improve

  • Maintain detailed logs and generate performance reports
  • Analyze breakdowns and implement corrective actions

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of direct leadership experience in industrial maintenance
  • Proven track record in chemical processing or automotive manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results
  • Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
