Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of Maintenance Technicians and is responsible for overseeing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities across production equipment. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all machinery and systems, while fostering the development of team members.

Shift Options:

3rd Shift 7:30pm-4:30am

3rd Shift - Swing

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily maintenance operations, including planned and unplanned work.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, USDA, SQF, EPA, PSM, HACCP).
  • Maintain high operational performance of all production and support equipment.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Planning to execute maintenance strategies.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets for assigned areas.
  • Utilize a Maintenance Reliability Program to document and schedule activities.
  • Support cross-functional teams (Production, Sanitation, Engineering) to meet safety and cost objectives.
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure cost-effective procurement practices.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Communicate effectively across shifts and departments.

Requirements

  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage high information loads.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a post-offer health assessment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and flexible with work hours, including weekends and overtime.
  • Ability to spend approximately 80% of the workday on the production floor.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.

Communication & Leadership

  • Ability to work independently with mid-level direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including delegation, accountability, and team development.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
