Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Currently, DSJ Global is partnered with a leading automotive manufacturing organization who is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes for sub-assemblies and finished products within a designated production area. This role focuses on achieving key performance indicators including safety, cost, quality, and delivery. The Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous improvement projects, resolve production issues through root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

  • Review safety, operational, quality, and maintenance reports to identify and implement improvements.
  • Evaluate equipment performance and drive productivity, efficiency, cost, and safety enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA plans, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Analyze product variation, improve process capability, and support new equipment launches including CNC programming/troubleshooting.

The Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or AS degree with relevant experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in automated or semi-automated manufacturing environments with knowledge of CNC and assembly processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams; familiarity with electro-mechanical systems and Tier I/Tier II automotive specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC logic, vision systems, Siemens-based controllers, and CNC programming/troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with proficiency in structured problem-solving tools and lean manufacturing principles.
