Manufacturing Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This position works closely with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams to support new product introductions, improve existing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve workflow.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support new product introductions and ensure smooth transition to production.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-volume or precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
