Overview
Our partner is a U.S.-based industrial manufacturing organization seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting large-scale capital projects and ongoing plant operations. This role combines strategic leadership, project execution, and technical oversight to ensure successful delivery of complex engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists supporting capital projects and plant operations.
- Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of large capital projects from concept through commissioning.
- Provide technical direction to ensure projects meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and corporate teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
- Support plant maintenance activities by providing engineering expertise and resources.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and project execution.
- Develop team capabilities through mentorship, performance management, and career development.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing capital projects in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
