MNC Industrial Group - APAC Manufacturing Vice President
DSJ Global has been exclusively engaged by a global manufacturing organization to appoint an APAC Vice President of Operations.
This executive leadership role will be responsible for driving operational performance, manufacturing excellence, quality, productivity, and business transformation across multiple manufacturing facilities within the Asia Pacific region.
The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the APAC Leadership Team and play a critical role in shaping long-term operational strategy while ensuring world-class execution across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and continuous improvement functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize multi-site manufacturing operations across APAC.
- Drive Operational Excellence initiatives focusing on productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, and capacity optimization.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement programs across all facilities.
- Develop regional manufacturing strategies aligned with global business objectives.
- Ensure best-in-class Quality Management Systems and operational governance.
- Lead large cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Excellence.
- Drive plant performance through KPI management, automation initiatives, and operational transformation programs.
- Partner closely with commercial leadership, product management, and executive stakeholders to support business growth.
- Build and develop high-performing leadership teams and succession pipelines across the region.
Requirements
Mandatory Experience
- Minimum 15 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including significant APAC operational responsibility.
- Proven experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations across Asia Pacific.
- Demonstrated success leading Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and transformation initiatives.
- Strong background in Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, and manufacturing performance management.
Industry Background - Essential
Candidates must come directly from the metal machining or metal processing industry.
The client will only consider leaders with substantial experience in one or more of the following sectors:
