O&M Procurement Associate
We are supporting a growing renewable energy company in their search for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Associate to support Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and asset procurement for their Utility-Scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. This role is critical to ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services that keep our renewable energy assets performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for O&M spare parts, consumables, and critical components for solar and BESS assets.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with O&M teams to forecast material needs and ensure inventory availability.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of procurement experience in renewable energy or power generation.
- Strong understanding of O&M requirements for utility-scale solar and BESS assets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
