Packaging Engineer III
We are seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer to design, develop, and optimize packaging solutions that ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency. This role involves working cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver innovative and sustainable packaging systems for pharmaceutical and medical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop packaging for drug products and medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and quality teams to integrate packaging into product development and commercialization processes.
- Conduct material selection, testing, and validation of packaging components to ensure performance under various conditions.
- Develop and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot packaging-related issues in production and provide technical guidance to resolve them.
- Manage relationships with packaging suppliers and evaluate new technologies and materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in packaging design and development within regulated industries (pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar).
- Knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and validation requirements.
