Planning Supervisor

As Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the planning team and ensuring optimal production and inventory planning across raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. You will play a key role in capacity planning, stock management, and continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Capacity Planning
    Develop and maintain optimal production plans considering constraints such as capacity, product type, production method, and lead times.

  • Inventory & Stock Management
    Oversee stock levels of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure availability and minimize waste.

  • Budget Control
    Monitor and manage planning-related budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

  • Cycle Counts & Inventory Accuracy
    Organize and supervise periodic cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance.

  • Team Leadership
    Manage and develop the Planning Team, including setting objectives, conducting regular consultations, and ensuring team competency.

  • Performance Management
    Define planning KPIs, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Stakeholder Communication
    Act as a key liaison between internal departments (manufacturing, shipping, customer service, sales, development labs) and external partners (suppliers, auditors).

  • Continuous Improvement
    Lead and support initiatives aimed at improving planning processes, systems, and overall supply chain efficiency.

  • Compliance & Safety
    Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning, inventory control, and team management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Knowledge of SHEQ standards and compliance requirements.
