A leading, Multi-Billion-Dollar Consumer Good/Food manufacturing business is looking to hire a new Plant Director to take over one of its Flagship critical sites, and help propel the business to the next level, specifically to help transform, improve, and evolve its team, numbers, union operations, leadership succession planning, and results. NOTE: **CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH - THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION, NOT A "REMOTE" ROLE**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a 1M sq ft facility and lead a team of over 300 staff
  • Build and evolve positive strong relationships with Unions and help optimize relations
  • Pioneer new best-practice initiatives to maximize operational output at the site
  • Lead by example and help launch practical roadmap for managers to encourage and promote legitimate Succession Planning for future leaders
  • Manage and lead all key operational procedures and factors, including manufacturing, technical asset, and hr, in order to optimize performance, cost, quality, safety and environmental
  • Ensure financial planning is accurate alongside volume and price inputs in order to deliver realistic output for customers
  • Guarantee fulfillment of all Policy, Quality, Safety, Security, Environment, Working legal obligations
  • Allocate appropriate resources and efforts to provide necessary training to employees in order to allow necessary decision-making at every level

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • 10+ years experience in Manufacturing environment within Food and/or Consumer Goods industry
  • 6+ years Senior Leadership in High-Volume environment with Manager level direct reports
  • Bachelor's Degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
  • Strong process improvement & cost saving accomplishments
  • Experience with managing teams of direct reports
