Process Engineer
An exciting opportunity is available for a Process Engineer to lead technical operations and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production, maintenance, and engineering support to ensure consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
- Analyze performance data and process trends to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Lead responses to process deviations, collaborating across teams to maintain safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Recommend process enhancements and capital investments to improve facility performance and product consistency.
- Drive investigations into safety and quality incidents, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Train and mentor operations personnel in process design and best practices, fostering technical growth and operational excellence.
- Monitor process conditions and implement adjustments to maintain cost-effective, efficient operations.
- Serve as a Certified Lean Specialist, leading internal projects focused on continuous improvement.
- Partner with training teams to develop and execute effective training programs, ensuring knowledge retention and performance readiness.
- Provide leadership coverage for department managers or operations leads during absences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or food processing environments is strongly preferred-bringing valuable insight into quality standards, regulatory compliance, and product integrity.
- Proven ability to lead in high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities to elevate team performance.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with a drive to challenge conventional approaches.
