ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a capital-intensive industrial organization operating large-scale production facilities and raw material processing sites that support critical infrastructure markets. This role is embedded in a highly asset-driven environment, where uptime, equipment reliability, and operational continuity are essential.

The Procurement Manager will oversee sourcing and supplier strategy for a regional network of production sites, with a strong emphasis on supporting fixed plant equipment, maintenance activities, and capital projects. This position requires close partnership with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure critical equipment and services are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with long-term category strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own procurement execution across a regional network of production facilities, ensuring alignment with broader category strategies while adapting to site-specific operational requirements
  • Act as the primary liaison between centralized category management and plant-level leadership, translating strategic sourcing initiatives into actionable execution at the site level
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including supplier identification, competitive bidding, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations, with a focus on total cost of ownership and long-term supplier partnerships
  • Identify and deliver cost optimization opportunities through spend analysis, supplier consolidation, benchmarking, and demand planning in collaboration with operations and maintenance teams
  • Drive adoption of procurement best practices, policies, and systems across sites, ensuring compliance while improving efficiency, transparency, and consistency in purchasing activities
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and project teams to support capital investments and site-level initiatives, ensuring procurement activities align with project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements
  • Monitor procurement performance through defined KPIs, track savings realization, and present insights to both operational and executive stakeholders to support continuous improvement
  • Lead, mentor, and develop site-based procurement and materials personnel, building capability and accountability within the regional team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence operational stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, plant-driven environment.
