Product Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs Manager

Location: Exton, PA

Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000

A chemical manufacturer specializing in fluorochemical technologies and high‑performance specialty materials is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Product Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their team. This role plays a pivotal part in enabling new product commercialization, ensuring regulatory compliance for existing products, and driving long‑term business growth. They are looking for a technically strong, collaborative professional with the ambition to grow into senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product stewardship reviews for raw materials and finished products, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Support and increasingly lead new product registrations in the Americas, including TSCA PMNs, LVEs, polymer exemptions, and Canadian DSL/NDSL notifications.
  • Manage the FDA food‑contact portfolio and contribute to the preparation of Food Contact Notifications (FCNs).
  • Develop, update, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in partnership with global teams.
  • Provide guidance on complex product stewardship and regulatory inquiries, exercising sound technical judgment.
  • Support export and import compliance activities, including TSCA notifications, export control documentation, and supplier compliance assessments.
  • Monitor emerging federal, state, and international regulations and communicate business impacts to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to regional regulatory strategy development aligned with global CSR objectives.
  • Participate in external advocacy efforts, industry working groups, and regulatory dialogues as responsibilities grow.
  • Deliver regulatory and product‑safety training across R&D, manufacturing, commercial, procurement, and customer service teams while serving as a key technical resource.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs and product stewardship, including TSCA, FDA, and related regulatory programs.
  • Strong chemistry foundation; polymer chemistry experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and standard office software.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15%, with potential increases as responsibilities expand.
