Production Manager
A leading manufacturer is seeking a Production Manager to lead operations within an appliance manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role will oversee production performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time production of products.
- Develop production and capacity plans to meet customer demand while optimizing labor, equipment, and material resources.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing tools, process optimization, and waste reduction programs.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
- Manage manufacturing budgets, productivity, inventory, and cost-control initiatives while partnering cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, overseeing direct reports.
- Experience within manufacturing operations such as metal fabrication or assembly.
- Strong background in quality systems, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proven ability to deliver results across safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, labor planning, budgeting, and operational performance metrics.
