Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Production Planner to join my client's manufacturing team. This role is responsible for developing and executing daily production schedules across two facilities, ensuring alignment with customer demand and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop production plans that optimize line productivity, service levels, and inventory levels.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities based on MRP and sales demand.
  • Review customer order changes and determine component requirements.
  • Evaluate raw materials and equipment readiness to support production schedules.
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines in a B2B environment.
  • Monitor and report production status, issues, and updates to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot shop order accuracy and production reporting issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and increase productivity.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • CPIM or CSCP certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and MRP systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels.
