Production Supervisor
A leading global manufacturer in the aerospace and industrial sectors is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its high-performance team at a state-of-the-art facility in Northern New Jersey. Location: Northern, NJ
Shifts: Currently openings for 2nd and 3rd shift
- 2nd shift (2pm-11pm Monday-Friday)
- 3rd shift (10pm-7am Sunday - Friday)
Compensation: $85,000-$90,000 + 5% bonus potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a production team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to meet production targets and customer demands.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and manage employee development and training.
- Monitor equipment and processes to ensure optimal utilization and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Resolve operational issues by reviewing reports, troubleshooting problems, and implementing improvements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical or leadership training is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment; preferably aerospace, medical device, packaging, pharma, food, etc.)
- Experience leading large teams i.e. 50+ direct reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles such as TPM, Kaizen, or Synchronous Manufacturing is preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive change, and maintain a high level of organization and initiative.
