DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading manufacturer who is looking to add a strong Production Supervisor to their team.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with hourly team members by encouraging engagement, teamwork, and professional development. Responsibilities include onboarding, training, coaching, conducting evaluations, and working to reduce turnover in support of operational goals.
  • Oversee daily operations and scheduling within designated departments to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Promote a culture of safety by identifying and addressing hazards, delivering safety training, performing audits, and investigating incidents within the area of responsibility.
  • Monitor and uphold quality standards, regularly reviewing processes and suggesting enhancements to maintain high product or service expectations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for improvement in processes, equipment, procedures, and workplace conditions.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Work closely with logistics, materials, and scheduling teams to maintain a steady flow of resources and balanced production schedules.
  • Assess staffing needs, manage attendance policies, and ensure accurate timekeeping and workforce records.
  • Participate in personnel decisions, including hiring, corrective actions, and conflict resolution. Conduct internal investigations when necessary.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • At least two years of leadership experience with a proven ability to drive results and support team development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team settings and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Highly dependable with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Skilled in leading change, coaching others, and achieving performance targets.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other operational sites as needed.
