Production Supervisor

One of our clients in the heavy manufacturing industry is looking for a production supervisor. The Production Supervisor will oversee manufacturing staff and operations, ensure production goals are met by managing schedules, workforce, and quality improvement initiatives.

Location: Easton, PA

Compensation: $75,000-$82,000

Shifts: 1st & 2nd

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and supports staff by setting expectations, monitoring performance, coaching, training, and enforcing policies and procedures.

• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, collective bargaining agreements, and employment laws, including administering discipline and recommending terminations when necessary.

• Manages daily operations by assigning tasks, adjusting schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate attendance and payroll records.

• Promotes a safe and efficient work environment through proper training, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.

• Maintains union relations and quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement and professional development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Sciences, or Engineering, or equivalent manufacturing experience; 5+ years in industrial manufacturing and 3+ years in a supervisory role, preferably in a union environment.

• Technical Skills: Background in electro/mechanical assembly and refrigeration is a plus; experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Additional Assets: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
