Night Shift Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing
We are seeking a driven and experienced Production Supervisor to lead overnight operations in our food manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production while meeting quality, volume, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who understands food safety standards and can manage operations independently during off‑shift hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support production teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP plans, and sanitation standards
- Execute production schedules, manage labor coverage, and respond to operational challenges
- Monitor equipment performance, coordinate changeovers, and address downtime issues
- Train, coach, and develop employees; address performance, attendance, and safety concerns
- Complete production documentation accurately and report shift performance to leadership
Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, HACCP, and GMP requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shift operations
- Experience with lean manufacturing, KPIs, or continuous improvement preferred
