Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute CAPEX projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery according to approved timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate closely with a diverse network of suppliers, integrators, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Manage commissioning activities, ensuring functional validation, documentation accuracy, updated drawings, and complete operational handover packages.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations, engineering standards, and industry‑specific compliance requirements throughout all project phases.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, equipment reliability, and production workflow efficiency.
Required Background & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related technical field; a Master's degree in Engineering is preferred. Relevant, proven industry experience may substitute for formal education.
- Professional certifications in project management are desirable and seen as a strong differentiator.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency with engineering documentation and tools, including schematic diagrams, P&ID development, one‑line drawings, and facility layouts utilizing AutoCAD or equivalent software.
- Proven hands‑on experience executing capital projects in collaboration with OEMs, systems integrators, and construction contractors.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with a natural ability to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance day‑to‑day problem‑solving with long‑range planning and system‑level thinking.
