Salary: $ 120,000 - $130,000 base + bonus + relo package
Summary:
A reputable manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager (NPD) for their Greater Allentown, PA facility.
Responsibilities:
The ideal Project Manager (NPD) will have the following responsibilities:
- Proven experience working with made-to-stock products
- Background in developing commercial or residential-grade products
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams through the full life cycle of new product development projects, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, and business goals.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, progress reports, and communication materials.
- Identify and manage risks, escalating critical issues and ensuring contingency plans are in place.
- Track project progress, manage dependencies, and ensure milestones are met using appropriate tools.
Qualifications
The ideal Project Manager (NPD) will have the following skill set:
- 3+ years of experience working at a manufacturing site
- 3+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on new product development
- Proven experience working with made-to-stock products
- Background in developing commercial or residential-grade products (standardized, mass produced, typically sold-off-the-shelf products - NOT engineered-to-order or custom products)
- Background in engineering, product management, finance, or supply chain
