Overview

A leading engineering and infrastructure delivery firm is hiring a Project Procurement Manager to lead the procurement lifecycle across major EPCM projects. This position oversees all procurement disciplines - contracts, purchasing, expediting, vendor quality, logistics, materials management, and systems - ensuring integrated, high‑quality delivery that meets scope, cost, schedule, and risk targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement procurement processes, procedures, tools, and templates from FEL phases through closeout.
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary procurement teams across multiple locations.
  • Interface with clients, PMs, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless procurement execution.
  • Manage procurement performance, purchasing strategies, logistics, modularization studies, and package lifecycle activities.
  • Provide functional direction for site contract administration and site materials management.
  • Maintain procurement systems, reporting structures, documentation, and ensure alignment with governance requirements.
  • Identify risks, implement corrective measures, and deliver clear reporting to leadership and clients.
  • Oversee resource planning, onboarding, and conduct site visits as needed.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Extensive EPCM procurement leadership experience with strong project management skills.
  • Proven ability managing multidisciplinary, multi-location teams.
  • Strong communication, commercial, negotiation, and dispute resolution capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of contracting/purchasing strategies, governance, procurement systems, and major equipment/service purchasing.

Preferred:

  • Tertiary qualification; engineering diploma; legal/negotiation training; knowledge of environmental, safety, quality, and trade regulations; international experience.
