Location: West Caldwell, NJ
Base Salary Range: $114,000 - $130,000
Join a leading aerospace and defense electronics manufacturer supporting mission-critical technologies used in space, communications, radar, and defense applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly complex products where quality, reliability, and performance are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations into quality issues and drive effective corrective actions
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to improve product quality and reliability
- Support audits, nonconformance management, and quality system compliance activities
- Review technical documentation and ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements
- Analyze quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Help drive quality performance across the manufacturing operation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience within aerospace, defense, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, MIL-STD requirements, or similar quality standards
- U.S. Person status required due to customer and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
- Familiarity with Minitab and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies and process improvement techniques
- ASQ Quality Engineer certification preferred
