Quality Engineer - Manufacturing & Production

A long-established leader in manufacturing and production is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their high-performing team. With over a century of innovation behind them, this organization is committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this role offers high visibility and the opportunity to drive meaningful change across operations.

The Quality Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

* Lead internal and external audits (ISO, Food Safety, etc.) to ensure ongoing compliance and certification
* Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions
* Evaluate product quality, including visual, functional, and performance-based criteria
* Manage and maintain quality documentation, systems, and data reporting tools
* Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams to uphold standards
* Support and mentor quality technicians to ensure consistent execution of quality protocols
* Monitor and improve KPIs related to quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and apply quality tools to solve complex problems

The ideal Quality Engineer candidate will have the following skill set:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
* 4+ years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
* Required: Experience in the printing, production, or related industry
* Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, and DOE
* Familiarity with ISO standards, GMPs, HACCP, and quality documentation practices
* Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
* Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
* Flexibility to work varied hours and travel as needed
