Quality Inspection Supervisor required for Leading Aerospace Component Manufacturer

• $100,000-$120,000

The Quality Inspection Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead the Inspection Department to ensure all products meet stringent aerospace specifications and customer expectations.
• Drive daily workflow by supervising, assigning, and coordinating Inspectors to maintain smooth, efficient production.
• Support a union workforce by managing labor‑relations matters and helping train and onboard new inspectors.
• Develop and continuously improve inspection procedures to uphold quality and compliance.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date inspection records and documentation.
• Oversee calibration, maintenance, and procurement of all inspection equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Verify inspection activities meet required standards, support plantwide calibration initiatives, and deliver key quality performance metrics.

The ideal Quality Inspection Supervisor candidate will have the following skillset:

• Minimum of 5 years of quality experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role; union‑environment experience strongly preferred.
• Background as a Quality Engineer, Inspector, or Tester is highly desirable.
• BSME or EE degree preferred, or equivalent technical background.
• Experience with aerospace or defense products and familiarity with stringent industry quality requirements.
• Prior work as a customer‑designated quality representative is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to support internal audits, drive productivity initiatives, and ensure high‑accuracy, traceable documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, as well as with customers, suppliers, and government representatives.
