Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and quality of our packaging processes. Your primary duties will include:

  • Developing and Implementing Quality Management Systems: Establish and maintain comprehensive quality management systems that align with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards, ensuring all products meet the stringent requirements of the food and beverage industry.
  • Leading QA and QC Teams: Provide strong leadership and guidance to quality assurance and quality control teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability to ensure consistent quality across all aspects of packaging operations.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for enhancing product safety, consistency, and compliance by initiating and managing continuous improvement programs. Your efforts will support the delivery of superior products that meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Overseeing Audits: Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulatory standards. This includes preparing for audits, addressing findings, and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of success in quality management within the food and beverage packaging industry. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Food & Beverage Packaging Expertise: Extensive experience working within the food and beverage packaging sector is essential. You should have a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and best practices.
  • HACCP and GFSI Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing HACCP and GFSI systems to ensure that food safety protocols are rigorously upheld. Familiarity with other industry standards and certifications will be advantageous.
  • Leadership Abilities: A strong leader with prior management experience, capable of inspiring and motivating teams while maintaining a focus on achieving quality goals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Quality Assurance & Control Oversight: A proven ability to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with all quality standards.
