The Opportunity

As our Quality Systems Manager, you'll lead the charge in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems. Your mission: ensure our products meet the highest standards, minimize defects, and support seamless manufacturing operations. You'll be the key link between quality assurance, production, and our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality System Leadership: Establish, implement, and maintain processes that ensure our quality management system delivers consistent, high-quality results.
  • Strategic Alignment: Communicate and align company Quality Policy and Objectives across all levels of the organization.
  • Compliance & Certification: Maintain deep knowledge of our QMS, ensuring ongoing compliance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary interface for internal teams, suppliers, and customers regarding complaints, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Calibration & Inspection: Oversee companywide calibration, outside processing inspections, specification reviews, and gage control.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on QMS performance and improvement needs to the Director of Quality Assurance.
  • Professional Development: Pursue additional certifications and credentials as needed for career growth.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (required)
  • 5+ years in a Quality Assurance leadership role (aerospace experience strongly preferred)
  • Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ, or Lean Six Sigma (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO/AS9100/Nadcap and customer requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
