Recruitment Manager / Talent Acquisition Manager

Position Summary

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading all talent acquisition activities across the organization, supporting both corporate and manufacturing operations. This individual will develop and execute recruiting strategies that attract top talent across engineering, operations, maintenance, manufacturing, supply chain, environmental, finance, and corporate functions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiting leader with experience supporting high-growth industrial, manufacturing, mining, energy, or technology environments. This role will partner closely with business leaders to build talent pipelines, improve hiring processes, strengthen employer branding, and ensure the company remains competitive in attracting critical talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for hourly, salaried, management, and executive-level positions.
  • Develop and execute workforce planning strategies in partnership with business leaders.
  • Manage and mentor recruiters, coordinators, and external recruiting partners.
  • Build proactive pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions including:
    • Manufacturing Leadership
    • Operations Management
    • Maintenance & Reliability
    • Process Engineering
    • Metallurgy & Materials Science
    • Supply Chain & Procurement
    • Environmental, Health & Safety
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to strengthen talent attraction efforts.
  • Develop relationships with universities, trade schools, military transition programs, and professional organizations.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics including:
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Oversee applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
  • Manage recruiting budgets and agency partnerships.
  • Support organizational growth initiatives, succession planning, and internal mobility programs.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of talent acquisition experience.
  • 3+ years of recruiting leadership or people management experience.
  • Background recruiting within manufacturing, industrial, energy, mining, aerospace, defense, automotive, chemical, or related industries.
  • Experience recruiting technical, skilled trades, and leadership talent.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and hiring best practices.
  • Experience using modern ATS and recruiting platforms.

Preferred

  • Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • Experience building recruiting functions in high-growth environments.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning and succession management.
