Regional Director of Sales - RF Products (Mid‑Atlantic)

Overview

The Regional Director of Sales will lead revenue growth for a portfolio of RF semiconductor products across the Mid‑Atlantic region. This role is responsible for managing and expanding strategic customer relationships while driving new business within optical, photonics, hyperscale data center, and advanced communications markets.

This is a regionally focused, customer‑facing leadership role requiring strong RF domain expertise, hands‑on account ownership, and the ability to execute complex, design‑in driven sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the regional sales strategy for RF products across the Mid‑Atlantic territory
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expand penetration within existing accounts
  • Lead long‑cycle, design‑in oriented sales engagements, working closely with customer engineering, systems, and executive teams
  • Develop and manage key regional accounts, aligning solutions with customer technology roadmaps
  • Partner cross‑functionally with applications engineering, product management, and marketing to support design wins
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and regional performance metrics
  • Represent the company within the region at customer meetings, technical reviews, and industry events

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technical B2B sales within semiconductors or advanced technology markets
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • Strong RF background (mandatory) with experience selling RF, microwave, or analog semiconductor products
  • Proven success in regional or field sales roles covering a defined geographic territory
  • Experience selling into optical, photonics, or hyperscale infrastructure ecosystems
  • High technical fluency with the ability to engage deeply with customer engineering teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder, long sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
