Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 + Bonus Eligibility

A global specialty materials manufacturer is seeking a Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support multiple manufacturing sites across the U.S. and Canada. This role will be based in the Nashville, TN area and provide regional EHS oversight for facilities in Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to influence safety performance across multiple sites while working closely with operations, site leadership, and corporate EHS leadership.
The Regional EHS Manager responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary EHS subject matter expert and business partner for approximately 6-8 manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Canada
- Conduct regular site audits, assessments, and in‑person visits to support compliance, risk reduction, and performance improvement
- Partner with operations and site leadership to address incidents, near misses, regulatory gaps, and corrective action plans
- Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and sharing of lessons learned across sites
- Coach and develop site EHS teams and operations leaders to strengthen accountability and safety culture
- Drive adoption of best practices, internal benchmarking, and collaboration across facilities
- Lead the development and deployment of regional and corporate EHS programs and initiatives
- Support environmental, health, and safety performance management through metrics, reporting, and trend analysis
- Support annual EHS planning, goal setting, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with broader business strategy
- Travel approximately 50% to support assigned facilities
The Regional EHS Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership responsibility
- Previous multi‑site or regional EHS oversight experience strongly preferred
- Applied knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable EHS regulations
- CSP or other recognized safety certification preferred
- Strong incident investigation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement capabilities
- Experience working with behavior‑based safety and safety culture initiatives
- Strong communication, influencing, and organizational skills
- Comfort working directly with operations and senior leadership
- Experience with EHS management systems and reporting tools preferred
