EHS Manager
A multi‑site manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and advance health and safety strategies across a complex, multi‑plant operation. This role partners closely with Operations and Plant Leadership to develop, deploy, and continuously improve safety and occupational health programs that drive employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities:
- The EHS Manager will use data, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies to assess program effectiveness, reduce risk, and support the organization's goal of achieving world‑class safety performance.
- Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing EHS team consisting of Safety Specialists, Safety Technicians, and Occupational Health professionals.
- Ensure effective execution of first‑report‑of‑injury processes and support employees with timely, appropriate medical attention.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and compliance of corporate safety standards across all locations.
- Ensure safety policies, procedures, and audits are effectively executed, with timely corrective action follow‑up and resource alignment.
- Lead initiatives focused on injury prevention, incident rate reduction, lost workday minimization, and workers' compensation cost management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of Safety Management experience supporting a large manufacturing site (700+ employees preferred), ideally across multiple locations
