This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, uptime, and performance of automated warehouse equipment and electro‑mechanical systems. The Reliability Engineer will work hands‑on with maintenance procedures, diagnostics, and system performance improvements while supporting daily operations within a highly automated environment. This position operates on a 24/7 rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule, switching between day and night shift every 4 weeks, with some overtime.
As the Reliability Engineer, you will:
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize system uptime
* Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems including conveyors, manual forklifts, and automated warehouse vehicles
* Conduct inspections, document results, and report equipment performance metrics
* Assist with coordinating spare parts needs, maintenance planning, and system improvements
* Train operations personnel on equipment functionality and safe work procedures
* Maintain organized work areas, tools, safety documentation, and maintenance records
The Reliability Engineer should have:
* Experience with preventive & corrective maintenance and electro‑mechanical reliability
* Hands-on exposure to conveyors, material handling equipment, and automated vehicle systems
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for diagnostics
* Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (no programming required)
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
* Strong analytical skills, communication ability, and customer-support mindset
