As we expand across key international markets, we are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Sales Lead - Wholesale (Franchisee & Distribution) - APAC to accelerate growth the regions.
The Role
Reporting to shareholders, the person will spearhead the commercial strategy across the region, driving profitable growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening partnerships with key wholesale accounts, franchisees, and distributors. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep market knowledge, strong negotiation abilities, and the capability to manage diverse business models across multiple geographies.
Job Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the APAC wholesale, franchise, and distribution strategy aligned with global brand direction.
- Build annual and long-term sales plans, revenue forecasts, and market expansion roadmaps.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing regional sales team.
Market & Partner Management
- Drive growth in APAC markets including SEA, HK & MC & TW, North Asia as well as MEA through strong commercial stewardship.
- Manage key wholesale accounts and franchise partners to maximize productivity and unlock commercial opportunities.
- Identify and secure new distribution partners in emerging markets.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to shape strategy.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee sell-in and sell-through performance, seasonal buying cycles, and order book management.
- Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure cohesive market execution.
- Ensure commercial compliance, brand positioning consistency, and operational standards across all partners.
Financial Ownership
- Own P&L performance for the region's commercial channels.
- Optimize pricing, margin structures, and trading terms.
- Drive profitability and sustainable growth through data-led decision-making.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years' sales experience within B2B such as wholesale - distribution and franchisee from lifestyle fashion or sportswear retail brands.
- Strong track record managing wholesale, franchise, and distribution models across APAC excluding China.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Deep understanding of APAC market dynamics, with experience
- Commercially analytical, agile, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams across multiple countries.
- Fluency in English and Chinese
