About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our corrugated packaging sales operations in the Jackson, TN region. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong book of business, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the Jackson, TN area and surrounding markets.
  • Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Leverage existing relationships and develop new partnerships with key accounts in manufacturing, distribution, and retail sectors.
  • Market Development: Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends within the corrugated packaging space.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set KPIs, track team performance, and report on sales metrics to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, customer service, and product development teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution alignment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the corrugated packaging industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams.
  • A strong book of business and established relationships in the Jackson, TN region or broader Southeastern U.S.
  • Deep understanding of corrugated packaging products, applications, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and innovation.
