Sales Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager with a strong hunter mentality to drive new business development and expand our client's client base. This is an individual contributor role focused on identifying, engaging, and closing new customers. You will play a key role in accelerating growth by building relationships with decision-makers and presenting solutions that meet their logistics needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and Acquire New Clients: Identify and target potential customers in key industries (e.g., retail, manufacturing, e-commerce).
- Develop Sales Pipeline: Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client requirements and propose tailored logistics solutions.
- Negotiate and Close Deals: Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and secure contracts.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
- Strong hunter mindset with ability to generate and convert leads independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working without direct team management.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
