Are you a detail-driven planner with a passion for keeping complex projects on track? A leading Gulf Coast shipyard is seeking a Scheduler to join its dynamic team and play a key role in the successful execution of new vessel construction and repair projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules for shipbuilding and repair operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and production teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate schedule status to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and scheduling processes.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in scheduling, planning, or project coordination - ideally in shipbuilding, heavy industry, or construction.
- Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with marine or industrial fabrication processes is a plus.
