About the Opportunity
A leading global aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its growing procurement team. This role will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a wide range of materials, components, assemblies, and equipment that support complex manufacturing operations.

Location: Morris County, NJ (5 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Review demand forecasts, planning requirements, and production schedules to ensure timely procurement of materials and uninterrupted operational support.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing process for a diverse portfolio of direct materials, components, and manufactured parts.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships while tracking supplier performance, delivery metrics, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contractual terms to drive cost savings and ensure reliable supply.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience within manufacturing
- Experience working with FAR/DFAR regulations preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation:
- Base salary up to $110,000
- Annual bonus potential
