Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies across multiple categories to support business goals
- Lead procurement initiatives and resolve complex or recurring supplier issues
- Negotiate commercial and legal terms with vendors to manage risk and maximize value
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure contract compliance and service quality
- Analyze market trends and category data to inform sourcing decisions
- Oversee category spend, risk, and compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards
- Provide guidance to procurement and sourcing teams on best practices and project priorities
- Support emergency response activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science or related field
- 4-7 years of relevant experience; or 6-9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience within indirect procurement- Ideally financial, professional or corporate services
- Strong project management and change management skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of category management and supply chain principles
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration across departments
- Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office Applications
- Skilled in contract negotiation and vendor performance management
