Join a leading specialty chemical manufacturer in Atlanta, GA! We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Chemical Process Engineer to play a vital role in driving process improvements, optimizing production, and contributing to large-scale capital projects in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement: Analyze and enhance chemical manufacturing processes to achieve operational efficiency and quality excellence.
  • Production Optimization: Identify and implement solutions to maximize production output while maintaining adherence to strict regulatory standards.
  • Project Support: Collaborate on large-scale capital projects, ensuring timely delivery and innovative solutions for manufacturing operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work within regulated environments to uphold the highest industry standards and meet all compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
    • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of chemical process engineering experience in manufacturing environments
    • Background in specialty chemicals, continuous processes, or regulated industries
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in process design, optimization, and scale-up
    • Familiarity with P&IDs and process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, etc.)
    • Experience with capital project execution and Process Safety Management (PSM)
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license
    • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams
