Key Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Analyze and enhance chemical manufacturing processes to achieve operational efficiency and quality excellence.
- Production Optimization: Identify and implement solutions to maximize production output while maintaining adherence to strict regulatory standards.
- Project Support: Collaborate on large-scale capital projects, ensuring timely delivery and innovative solutions for manufacturing operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work within regulated environments to uphold the highest industry standards and meet all compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Experience:
- 7+ years of chemical process engineering experience in manufacturing environments
- Background in specialty chemicals, continuous processes, or regulated industries
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in process design, optimization, and scale-up
- Familiarity with P&IDs and process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, etc.)
- Experience with capital project execution and Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams
