About the Role
A leading manufacturer of high-volume, complex thin-wall investment castings is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across its aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors. This role is pivotal in leading cross-functional teams to enhance turnaround times, streamline processes, and reduce costs using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
- Lead and execute improvement projects aligned with business goals.
- Develop and implement new processes and train team members.
- Design and deploy improvement strategies and manage their execution.
- Facilitate cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Additional Duties
- Perform other related tasks as needed within the facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience with strong analytical skills in statistical methods, financial analysis, or engineering modeling.
- Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Cellular Flow, SMED, Kanban, Hoshin Planning, and Visual Controls.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, build consensus, and drive change.
- Demonstrated success in leading sustainable continuous improvement initiatives.
