The purpose of this position is to be a hands-on leader for the strategic planning and coordination for assigned business units. The Sr Demand Planning Manager Will Be Responsible For the Following:
* Develop and implement strategies for demand forecasting, inventory control, and replenishment, ensuring product availability and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory
* Hands-on leader for end-to-end supply planning, aligning demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets
* Contribute to the S&OP process by creating accurate forecasts and supply plans that support the company's objectives
* Lead and contribute to team, cross functional, and management meetings
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and optimize inventory
The Sr Demand Planning Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field required
* 5+ years of relevant work experience in an inventory planning and replenishment role
* Experience with consumer goods and retail wholesalers including Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, etc.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and solve problems effectively
* Highly developed interpersonal skills with exceptional written and verbal communication
* Computer proficiency on all MS Office applications including ERP & MRP systems
This is a full time permanent position that will operate on a fully onsite schedule (5x in office)
