Senior Director, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Overview

A rapidly growing luxury home furnishings brand is seeking a Senior Director of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to lead vendor strategy, global sourcing, and cost optimization initiatives across a high-end product portfolio.

This role is highly visible, partnering cross-functionally with merchandising, product development, supply chain, and executive leadership to drive margin improvement, supplier innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end sourcing strategy across furniture, textiles, materials, and finished goods
Build and manage a global supplier network, including manufacturers, mills, and key vendors
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to support margin expansion and cost savings goals
Partner with merchandising and product development teams to align sourcing with design vision and brand standards
Oversee supplier performance, compliance, and quality assurance
Drive risk mitigation strategies including diversification of sourcing regions and partners
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and scalability within procurement operations
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sourcing/procurement team
Collaborate with supply chain leadership on forecasting, inventory flow, and production planning

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, with leadership at the Director/Senior Director level
Strong background in home furnishings, furniture, textiles, or luxury consumer goods
Proven experience managing global vendor relationships (Asia, Europe, and/or domestic sourcing)
Demonstrated success in cost negotiation, supplier strategy, and margin improvement
Experience working cross-functionally with merchandising, design, and product teams
Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards in home goods
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at the executive le
