Our client, a leading organization in the Food & Beverage sector, is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to become a key member of our client's team in San Leandro. This is a permanent role with a base salary range of $140k-$180k, offering the opportunity to shape reliability strategy, drive asset performance, and make a direct impact on manufacturing uptime across a high-performing operation.
About the Role
As Senior Reliability Engineer, you will lead mission-critical reliability programs that improve equipment uptime and minimize downtime across our client's manufacturing facilities. You will drive structured problem-solving, implement predictive maintenance, and support capital projects to ensure long-term asset health and operational excellence.
Key Skills & Focus Areas
- Reliability Programs Leadership: Own and lead reliability initiatives to enhance equipment performance and sustainability.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Systematically investigate failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis): Assess risk and prioritize mitigations to prevent recurring issues and critical failures.
- Predictive Maintenance: Develop and deploy condition-based and predictive maintenance strategies to avoid unplanned downtime.
- CMMS Optimization: Optimize use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System to improve work planning, history, and data-driven decisions.
- Asset Strategy Development: Define asset care plans and life-cycle strategies that align with production and reliability goals.
- Capital Project Support: Partner with engineering and operations to ensure new equipment and projects meet reliability standards from day one.
- Manufacturing Experience (7+ years): Apply extensive hands-on manufacturing knowledge to drive practical, effective reliability improvements.
