Senior Utilities Engineer
Job Summary:
The Senior Production and Utilities Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes and managing utility systems within a chemical manufacturing facility. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations by leading process improvements, supporting equipment reliability, and overseeing critical utilities.
- Lead process optimization initiatives to improve yield, throughput, and energy efficiency.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems supporting chemical production.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance, process engineering, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Support capital projects, including equipment upgrades and utility infrastructure improvements.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with a focus on production and utilities.
- Strong knowledge of chemical process operations, utility systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with process control systems, reliability engineering, and energy management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
