Sr. Director Operations
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director, Operations to lead a complex, multi-site logistics and distribution operation. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for overseeing operational strategy, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring best-in-class performance across warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and customer service functions.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished operations executive with deep experience in high-volume distribution environments, a strong financial acumen, and a track record of building high-performing teams while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Lead all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation, and delivery performance.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and data-driven performance management.
- Manage operational budgets, financial performance, and cost-control initiatives while maintaining service excellence.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and deliver business results.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, engagement, and leadership development across the organization.
- Build, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams while driving employee engagement and succession planning.

We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or related operations environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale operations with significant workforce responsibility.
- Strong P&L management, budgeting, financial analysis, and operational planning capabilities.
- Experience implementing KPIs and driving performance through operational metrics and accountability.
- Knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems (WMS/TMS).
- Lean, continuous improvement, and process optimization experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and lead teams through growth and change.
