Compensation

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation, along with transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $154,968 - $205,332.60. Actual compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as performance, experience, skills, and education.

This role is also eligible for participation in an annual incentive plan, subject to meeting eligibility requirements.


Join Our Team as a Senior Manager, Facilities Engineering & Maintenance

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee facilities engineering, maintenance, and process improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in driving strategic improvements, enhancing operational performance, and ensuring the reliability of facilities and production systems.

The Senior Manager will lead engineering, construction, and facilities-related projects while supporting key operational goals across safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). This position is responsible for developing and executing improvement strategies, optimizing system performance, and leading cross-functional collaboration to support operational excellence.

This is a high-impact leadership role with strong visibility to executive leadership and offers a pathway to advanced opportunities within facilities management.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy Deployment

  • Lead and manage facilities and process improvement projects aligned with organizational goals
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable short- and long-term plans
  • Oversee daily departmental operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of KPIs

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage capital and operating budgets to support departmental objectives
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment
  • Approve expenditures related to equipment, materials, and maintenance

Facilities & Process Engineering

  • Oversee engineering projects and collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Plan and execute project schedules, including capital improvements and maintenance programs
  • Drive balance between operational performance, execution efficiency, and cost control
  • Build and expand team capabilities over time

Lean & Continuous Improvement

  • Design and implement processes that improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive cross-functional solutions
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, and lean principles

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and housekeeping standards
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry safety requirements
  • Investigate and address safety incidents and promote proactive risk prevention

Reporting & Communication

  • Analyze operational and engineering reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate updates, risks, and performance results to leadership
  • Provide visibility into project progress and implement corrective actions when needed

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
  • Manage workforce planning, recruitment, performance reviews, and succession planning
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and recognize achievements

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Maintain compliance with engineering, construction, and safety standards

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, facilities, or maintenance/reliability within a manufacturing or process-driven environment
  • Proven leadership experience at the manager level or above
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and achieving KPIs
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Technical Expertise Includes:

  • Facilities engineering, construction, utilities, and infrastructure systems
  • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems
  • Automation, PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and commissioning
  • Process systems such as painting, molding, electroplating, and material handling
  • Network infrastructure, security systems, and structured cabling
  • Budgeting, cost estimation, permitting, zoning, and compliance processes
  • Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency in CAD, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle HCM), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
