A leading global developer and distributor of prestige beauty products, the company specializes in crafting and marketing luxury fragrances and cosmetics.
The team is currently hiring a Senior Manager - Materials Planning to lead strategic and operational planning of material needs across our supply chain. This role is ideal for a seasoned supply chain professional with strong analytical capabilities and leadership experience. The position oversees inventory planning, supplier coordination, and team management to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.
This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage procurement of components and raw materials to support production timelines and service goals.
* Establish and maintain supply parameters including lead times and minimum order quantities.
* Oversee version control of components to ensure accurate inventory and production documentation.
* Validate material availability and coordinate stock transfers to meet production demands.
* Identify and resolve material shortages by working closely with suppliers.
* Adjust procurement plans to accommodate changes in demand or supply disruptions.
* Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and supplier transactions.
* Collaborate on product launches and engineering changes to ensure smooth material transitions.
* Supervise and develop direct reports, fostering growth and accountability.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in materials planning or supply chain operations.
* At least 1 year of experience managing a team.
* Experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry preferred.
