Strategic Sourcing Lead
We are supporting a client in the property management industry that is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Lead to drive procurement excellence across IT and corporate services categories. This role is ideal for a sourcing professional who thrives on optimizing vendor relationships, reducing costs, and delivering strategic value in areas such as IT hardware/software, managed print services, corporate travel, and SG&A-related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives for IT and services categories, including printers, travel, and general corporate services.
- Develop and manage RFI/RFP processes, evaluate supplier proposals, and lead negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance and alignment with business needs.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts in collaboration with legal and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to inform sourcing strategies and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand technical and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and supplier agreements.
- Support ERP system utilization and data integrity for sourcing and procurement activities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on IT and/or corporate services.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with IT procurement (hardware, software, SaaS), managed print services, and travel programs is highly desirable.
