Title: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Kings Mountain, North Carolina
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000
Summary:
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager with in-depth supply chain knowledge and strong leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing logistics and optimizing material flow throughout the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Direct, coach, control, coordinate, and delegate departmental policies, programs, and assignments to achieve desired results in planning, scheduling, material control, inventory, internal and inbound flows, and 3PL management.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget.
- Lead logistics preparation and changes for product and industrial projects.
- Implement new and improve current supply chain flows and processes, including sourcing board input and line moving.
- Manage a team of professionals, including logistics managers, supervisors, planners, and employees, supporting internal logistics flows and processes.
- Manage activities with logistics team and logistics engineering to improve POU by implementing cross-functional KAIZEN and root cause analysis.
- Define performance metrics for logistics processes such as receiving/warehousing, picking and delivery, repacking, transporting, and kitting using PFEP tool (Plan For Every Part).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business field.
- 10 years' experience in manufacturing, engineering, or logistics environment.
- In-depth supply chain knowledge.
- Capacity to work with technical drawings and conceptualize manufacturing solutions.
- Strong leadership, time management, planning, organization, analytical, and negotiation skills.
