On behalf of a major international sporting goods retailer, we are searching for a:

Supply Chain Quality & Industrialization Lead

Base: Shenzhen, China

Objective:

  • Managing suppliers' quality performance, preventing quality risks, proposing relevant solutions, and implementing actions, enhance the autonomy of suppliers' quality systems and processes, continuously ensuring product quality meets the needs of customers and sports enthusiasts.
  • Responsible for establishing quality, technical, and production process standards before mass production, managing new product trial production, quality control, and process control projects to ensure the reliability, stability, and efficiency of new product launches, and ensuring continuous improvement during the production process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily quality performance of suppliers, use relevant quality tools, analyze and evaluate supplier quality systems, identify quality risks, find root problems, and take corresponding actions to solve quality issues.
  • Establish and implement product quality control plans, enhancing the stability and autonomy of suppliers in quality management.
  • Lead suppliers through quality audits and pursue continuous performance improvement, enhancing suppliers' self-assessment awareness and capabilities.
  • Ensure and promote the management of suppliers' social responsibilities (environmental protection, human rights compliance, safety measures).
  • Participate in the formulation of internal and external industrial technical requirements; confirm supplier production processes and technical requirements according to internal and external standards; establish and manage supplier process control plans; conduct process quality checks, process parameter checks, and key point inspections for products.
  • Collaborate with product engineers, industrial production teams, and suppliers to optimize production plans; achieve replicable continuous mass production growth; ensure stable and reasonable product processes and quality.
  • Lean production project management: Evaluate and improve supplier production efficiency to achieve cost optimization; shorten production time; maximize product profits; focus on comprehensive capacity planning; ensure scalability of manufacturing processes; formulate plant planning for different suppliers including plant space planning, manpower planning, personnel training plans, lean production lines.
  • Sustainable development project management: Conduct supplier corporate social responsibility audits; manage sustainable development product partner projects.
  • Communicate new product development processes; participate in product research and development; ensure supplier product processes are stable, reasonable, and maximize profits.
  • New product introduction management: Trial production, quality control, process control.
  • Evaluate and improve supplier production efficiency to achieve cost optimization and shorten production time.

Requirements

  • Full-time undergraduate degree, preferably in science and engineering, with supplier quality management experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and ability to use English as a working language.
  • Positive, energetic, willing to participate in and enjoy sports.
  • Strong problem analysis and logical thinking skills.
  • Curious and open-minded, with a global and long-term perspective.
  • Proactive in communication, willing to share and collaborate with others.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, rigorous, practical, grounded, not easily compromising, and customer and result-oriented.
  • Strong stress resistance, willing to accept challenges.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, project management experience is a plus.
  • Pragmatic, passionate about the industrial sector and on-site work, accepting business travel as needed.
